This rare and sought after Black and White Ebony turning stock has air dried for one year as of May 2019 and has been completely wax sealed. The wood contains moisture. Uncommonly beautiful, you’ll see the unique patterns and contrast in each individually pictured piece! It is natural in this species to have hairline checks along the black stripes. Sandpaper and glue can easily remedy this! We have carefully described the defects; however hairline checks can be present that are not specifically noted. When turning this wood, surfaces must be sealed immediately or covered with a plastic bag as checking can develop rapidly. It’s worth the effort for the stunning results! This turning square has some bug holes present.
This beautiful Black and White Ebony has air dried for five years as of June 2022 and has been completely wax sealed or wax sealed on the ends.
