This rustic Black Cottonwood slab is outstanding with its unique combination of figure and checks. It boasts of one live edge and one square edge There are some knots and full length checknots with full length checks on opposite face-void below the numbers- got some blue color in the live edge- knot on the numbered face must cut for free shipping-kiln dried.
This Black Cottonwood has nice colors and patterns with areas of figure. It was freshly cut in July of 2022, completely wax sealed, and contains residual moisture. This was cut from the figured areas of crotchwood logs. It will make a lovely woodturning projects. Twice turning is required, but the wood dries quickly with little degrade. Cottonwood is easy to turn and sand.
