Goldfield burls are a rare and wonderful species from Australia that can be expected to yield exceptional projects! This burl cookie slice has been air dried for 3.5 years as of 2021 and may contain some residual moisture, but is mostly dry. It has been surfaced on two sides to reveal the natural burl eyes & rich color. Cookies 2 ft. and larger in diameter may have a slight bow or cup. The edge is natural and bark free with a unique live burl edge that can be utilized creatively. Some surface checks and incursions may be present. Rustic pieces will contain more of these.
