This exceptional African Sapele lumber is kiln dried and ready to use. The majority of the boards are instrument grade and can be used in guitars, ukuleles, and other fine woodworking projects. They are high enough quality for woodworkers who craft fine furniture & boxes as well. A beautiful, tight “Pomelle” figure is present in most boards. This is the most figured Sapele lumber we’ve had in 20 years! If you are looking for something outstanding for your next exotic wood project, this African Sapele is an alluring choice! This piece of lumber has incredible color and figure varies from figured to museum grade. The live edge side has the most figure! There are numerous checks, cracks, and splits present with some rough spots.
