Australian Red River Gum has light pink to red colors. Pieces generally have some figure on the quarter sawn faces or edges. This dense wood was freshly cut in June of 2020, completely wax sealed, and contains residual moisture. Twice turning is recommended, and please take care to cover the partially turned blank until it dries. Store this wood in a cool, dry location. Checks and some shrinkage can develop as the wood dries.
